In 2026, I embarked on an unforgettable Eco Whale Tour in Baja California that perfectly blended adventure, education, and connection. One of the most magical highlights was the rare opportunity to gently interact with the whales—an experience that felt both humbling and exhilarating. What an experience! Our hotels (Oasis and La Huerta) were clean and comfortable. The whale camp accommodations were so much nicer that I imaged, loved the compost toilets and the bucket showers! Kudos to the staff there who were all extremely welcoming and super knowledgeable. We hit whales each time we went out and loved the shows those whales gave us! And what do I say about Katie? She is a fantastic hostess with a wealth of local knowledge which is only matched by her kindness. I cannot wait to get another group together to go again.

Everything on this trip was fantastic. The restaurants and hotels, along with the whale camp, were outstanding. Katie was a fun group leader who was able to share a lot of information about the whales, the missions, and the plants along our journey in Mexico. I highly recommend this trip!
